Are you a Writer of the Future?

Just starting out in the writing world is as exciting as it is ominous. For the science fiction or high fantasy writer, the writing and learning process can be challenging. Not only do you want to write a good story, you want to write stories others will read. Luckily for us, there are publishers and generous donors that wish to reward you for your excellent narratives which can set you on the path toward a successful writing career!

L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future contest is a widely renowned competition that relishes in the arts of science fiction which seeks to reward new writers for their talent and skill. The competition is hosted on a quarterly basis. This quarter ends on June 30th 11:59 PM Standard Pacific Time.

Be sure to observe the guidelines and format accordingly as to not be disqualified!

Through these past few years, I have submitted many maybe-stories and works-of-pride and have been awarded three Honorable Mentions. This experience has encouraged me to continue my efforts.

The rewards include being published with Galaxy Press in their yearly science fiction anthology.
